This Friday night, November 20, the 4-H Achievement program

This Friday night, November 20, the 4-H Achievement program will be held at the Washington Elementary School at 7:30 p. m. Achievement awards in boys 4-H projects include beef, automotive, swine, electricity, forestry, garden and field crops. Another 4-H award will be the outstanding boy and girl awards given by the Rappahannock National Bank. County 4-H medals will be given for public speaking, recreation, agricultural programs, achievement, leadership and citizenship. All of these awards are made possible by nation-wide business concerns. Two 4-H alumni awards will also be presented to a man and a woman who have achieved success in their chosen careers after leaving 4-H. Two awards by the Danforth Foundation of St. Louis will be presented to a boy and a girl. These "I Dare You” awards are both a challenge and an inspiration to 4-Hers. Warren, Bradford and Alletta Beeve, Carty Moffett, Bill Payne, Brenda Prlntzand other 4-H share the fun members will entertain. Sandra Foster, president of the Rappahannock 4-H Council will preside. . A short program by 4-H members on 4-H experiences will be featured. C. G. Thornhill, Jr., Gloria Durden, Harold Walker, and Susan Dodson are the participants. The honor club installation ceremony will conclude the 4-H achievement program this Friday-night. • -
