Allen Brown of Washington, D. C. On Saturday Mrs. Allen Brown and two children were guests and Mr. Brown returned home with them. Mrs. P. Lee Thornton and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher visited Mrs. Fletcher's daughter, Louise at Abbot Academy, Andover, Mass, from Thursday until Sunday, making the trip by plane. Houseguests of Mrs. Harvey Daily from Friday until Monday were her sister, Mrs. Maude Dempsey and Elder and Mrs. Charles Boyd of Fredericktown, Ohio. Other guests during the week were Mrs. Urma Guy of Bentonville, Drucilla Hawkins of Sparta, Ohio, Elder and Mrs. Will Daily of Luray, Elder and Mrs. Hollie Redmon of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yates and daughters, Lois and Janet. On Saturday, Mrs. E. W. Gore, Mrs. J. Earl Wayland and Robert Brown visited Mrs, Helen Bruce in Prince William Hospital. On their return home they were dinner guests of Mrs. A. R. Partlow in Culpeper.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland of Arlington. Mr. Wayland remained for the hunting season and was lucky enough to bag a deer.
