A number of traffic mishaps were reported during the holidays, but none too serious. Christmas Eve morning at 9 a.m. on Route 211 east of Washington, Barbara Kay Pullen driving a 64 Plymouth owned by her father Emanuel Pullen of Amissville, skidded on wet pavement on a curve The vehicle ran through a fence on the Russell Kuhn . farm, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin. Miss Pullen was not injured. Damage to the car was estimated at $350 and to the fence $25. At the same location the same evening at 10:50 p.m., Roger Kyle Barfield of Culpeper ran off the right of the road and struck a tree and fence on the Charles King property. Barfield was not injured but damage to his car was estimated at $800, said Trooper Buntin who investigas ed.
