The Flint Hill Rescue Squad made two trips on Christmas night. Mrs. Vernon Ramey was taken to the Warren Memorial Hospital and Dorothy Jones also'was taken to the Front ! Royal hospital, j January 2 the Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Mrs. Charlie Jenkins from Washington to Fauquier Hospital, ■ Warrenton.

J Billy Smoot was taken from the Robert Miko place near town to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal on Tuesday after he fell from a tree which he was pruning. Mrs. Betty Jenkins was taken from Sperryville to Culpeper the same day. During the holiday, Amissville Fire Company answered a call to a chimney fire at the Elkins home near there and to a chimney fire at Mrs. Bedford Putnams. Tuesday the department answered an alarm at the home of Ma'nuel Pullens.
