Ronnie Burke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke spent the Christmas holidays in Silver Spring, Md. visiting his sister Miss Peggy Burke and Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton. He returned home on Saturday accompanied by his sister and Mr. and Mrs. Hamil-i ton. On Sunday they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill. Christmas dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie W. Johnson and three sons were Lt. Col. and Mrs. Norman Wilbur and daughter Norma Lee, Mrs. Iris Brooke of Slate Mills and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas C. Plantt of Madison. Mr. and Mrs. George Baber and son of Lanham, Md. were guests of Mrs. Baber’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Eddie W. Johnson and family Christmas night through Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Smith had as their guests on Thursday, December 31 Mrs. Smith's sister, Mrs. Lulu Weaver of Warrenton and her ; guest Mrs. 'Bob Weaver of Washington, D. C.
