Exhibit Held Over
The unusually fine Exhibition of Religious Art by young artists which has been on display at the Rappahannock Library since the beginning of the holiday season will be held over for another few weeks, on Wednesday afternoons from 2 until 5 and Saturday morning from 10 until 12. Plans are being made for students of the local school to visit the Exhibit. The theme of the exhibit, sponsored by the American Council on Religious Art, Inc. is “Our Religious Heritage" ! and its purpose is to stimuI late a greater interest and appreciation of art among | young people; to provide 'greater recognition and motivation among student artists; and to foster its use in homes, schools, religious institutions and in the market place. The Rappahannock Library was a pleasant place to be last Wednesday afternoon when approximately seventy people, some very young, some just young in heart, had the pleasure of seeing and hearing Mr. James G. Ferrier. Mr. Ferrier of Takoma Park, Md. who was visiting his sister Mrs. I. O. Wolf in Woodville, is a professional artist, has done some work on television and other media of entertainment and is at present engaged in the artistic aspect'of heraldry.
