Another load of “Green Gold” is shown being loaded for shipment to Virginia landowners. These one-year-old pine tree seedlings were raised at the Virginia Division of Forestry’s nursery in New Kent County from native Virginia seed. The seedlings are sold at cost to reforest abandoned fields and cut-over woodlands.
