An addition is being made to the C & P Telephone central office in Sperryville in preparation for extended area service. By the middle of the year Sperryville phone subscribers will be able to call toll-free to Culpeper. The buliding will be enlarged to give 800 square feet of space. Additional local and lonb distance equipment will be installed and a new cable will be run between the two towns. An underground cable has been laid from Amissville to the West Central office at Butlers Store to give that section of the county better service also.
