Traffic Accidents
Several inches of snow fell Saturday to add to that remaining from a storm the week before and temperatures hover in the 20’s, dipping as low as 4 degrees. The powdery snow drifted, but fortunately there was not enough, about 3 inches to block highways or generally impede daily routines. Traffic incidents have been few, only two accidents reported, and one traffic tie-up. During the snow Saturday, a tractor-trailer jack-knifed on a hill on Route 522 near Boston and snarled traffic for some time. At 12;45 a.m. on Saturday on Route 211 a mile east of Washington a single vehicle accident occurred. Lary LaVon Wimberley of Culpeper was not injured when the 1964 Chevelle he w a suffer i v i n g skidded on the snow and struck a bank on the left of the highway. The vehicle was owned by Robert L.
