urease 9-in< li square pan. Preheat oven to 350 . Into large mixing bowl sift togetner flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and allspice. Blend in snortenmg. brown sugar and % cup milk. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer or 3on strokes by hand. Blend in remaining milk and eggs. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes or 3hh strokes more. Turn into pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely befoie fiosting. Spread with Brown Sugar Frosting; arrange pecan halves on top of cake^^. --
