Churches Organize

Baptist Brotherhood

Forest Grove and Amissville Baptist Churches have organized a joint men’s Brotherhood group with the following officers e 1 e c t e d: president, William Printz; vice-president, Aubrey Curtis; and secretary, Nelson Burner. At the organizational meeting on March 25, the Rev. Gene Williams of Richmond, secretary for the State Brotherhood, Virginia Baptist Association, was guest speaker. Also present for the initial meeting was the Rev- Ralph Rasberry of Chester Gap and Mr. Jerry Moore, Culpeper, who assisted with plans for the group. The Brotherhood is designed to unite the men of the churches into a missionary force which teaches and practices missions at home and away. Meetings of the group will be held the fourth Thursday of each month with interesting programs using speakers, films and discussions.

The Forest Grove-Amissville group has 12 members,

Ham-Chicken Pinner At Chester Gap
