Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and family were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle and family. In the afternoon Mrs. Settle and Mrs.| Prles^, visited Mrs. Junej Peters* at Rixeyville. Mrs. Wallace Stover and Mrs. Cliff Green visited Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Priest Saturday afternoon. Supper guests of the Stovers were Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Bywaters of Flint Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clements of Alexandria spent several days last week with Mrs. Dollie Melbourne and family. Saturday visitors of Mrs. Melbourne were Mr. and Mrs. Emory Shifflette and family of Alexandria. Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence entertained a group of children Saturday afternoon in honor of C. G. Lawrence, Jr. on his sixth birthday. About 25 children and parents were present.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Donner of Brookeville, Pa. were recent visitors for several days of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred. Last Sunday Mrs. Kindredfe parents of Brookeville were guests for the day of the Kindreds.

Miss Phoebe Green of Williamsburg was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Leonard.

Mrs. Sarah Latham and Susan and Mrs. David Streagle and daughter Shannon were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Peck in Herndon. In the afternoon they visited Mrs. Lettie Wood in Vienna and in the evening, accompanied by Mrs. C. C. Cockerill, were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart in Herndon. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and son William were dinner guests Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Gouldthorpe and daughter Candy in Bealeton.

Mrs. Julia Curtis of Front Royal is visiting Mrs. J. L. Walter for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley accompanied by Miss Jacqueline Marcil of Washington, D. C. hiked White Oak Canyon Sunday.
