The resolution was passed and chai.rman Miller then re turned to the chair. It was suggested by Herbert Foster that a letter be written to Rep. John 0. Marsh, Jr. in protest concerning the $1.15 wage minimum legislation be fore Congress.

Friday SCA Meeting
Washington and Sperryville Elementary Schools will participate in the annual S.C.A. Division ^meeting to be held
Friday in^ Front Royal at the E. Wilsoiy Morrison Elementary School. The Division meeting is fbr Warren and Rappahannock schools!. The theme is “We Need to Respect People*, with people spelled out asfoAlows: P-Parents; E-Education; 0-0 f f icials; P-Pastors; L-Leaders; E-Each Other. Sperryville representatives will present a skit and the school chorus will present vocal selections. Mrs. Christine John6ton and Mrs. Matila'a Walker direct the chorus, and Mr6. Lucia Kilby is in charge of the skit. Washington Elementary School will have as its part of the program, “We must respect Pasto rs". Billy Payne will present the backgound of preaching with quotes from the Bible. A dialogue, “Why Should I Respect a P reacher", will by given by Flo yd Grigsby and Wade Massie while Deborah Barron will present a monologue, “What Does A Pastor Do?"
