Callers in the Dwyer home Sunday afternoon were Mrs. Betsy Harrell, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Compton of Reva and Roy Dwyer of Elkwood. Mrs. J. H. Daily spent the week-end in Bentonville with Mr. and Mrs. Pelham Morrison.
Miss Frances Leake, Mrs. Mary Ashby and Miss Pattie Atkins of Warrenton were guests on Sunday of Miss Nellie Atkins and Mrs. Ethel Tyner. Larry Wayland of Arlington 'was a guest of his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wayland on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown and baby girl of Richmond who spent the week-end with Mrs. Nina B. Brown were accompanied home by her for a weeks stay. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dwyer of Elkwood were guests on Sunday of Mrs. Dwyer’s brother Lee Cornell.

By Jean Gallihugh Miss Ann Yates of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mr6. James Yates of Meadow Green and attended the Rappahannock Hunt Ball. Harry Gallihugh is on the sick list but is improving. Mr. Irvin White was taken to the Martinsburg hospital on last Tuesday. Mrs. Ross Coates, his daughter accompanied him in the ambulance. He is visited regularly by his family. The community was saddened and shocked to hear of the death of Mrs. E. H. Weakley at the University of Virginia Hospital on Wednesday. She had been spending some time with her daughter and sonin-law, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Hawkins of Madison. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Yates were overnight guests on Sunday of Mr. Yates's sister Mrs. Louise Durant in Washington, fc>. C. They attended the funeral on Monday of Capt. David I. Heddrick U. S. N. (Ret.) of Centerville, Penna. formerly of Delray Beach, Florida and Flint Hill. He was buried in the Arlington National Cemetery. Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh attended the -funeral at Rev. Ejdward Davis in Lignum on Tuesday. Mrs. Rufus Carpenter and children spent Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Mitchell. ' Saturday night supper guests in the home of Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and the Harry Gallihugh’s were the Rev. Paul Davis and the Rev. Ralph Rice of Culpeper County. Upton Weakley of Culpeper was ai dinner guest on Sunday in the same home.
Mr. and Mrs. NelsonRevercomb and son Randy spent Sunday at their country home here and attended services at F. T. Baptist Church.
Donnie Gallihugh and Carolyn Rash of M.C.H.S. attended the State S.C.A. Conference at Martinsville over the weekend. They were accompanied by their sponsor Mr. John Coe.
