Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown who spent from Thursday until Sunday in Hampton as guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Konek were entertained on their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday April 3 by five of their children, Maury, Jr., Allen, Gerald, Elizabeth and Jean. Eight grandchildren were present. Also present for the occasion were Robert Brown of Portsmouth and Mrs Beverly Toskins and son Tommy of Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Mansfield of St. Petersburg, Flori da are spending several days this week with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Pillar in Broad Hollow. Mrs. Perle Coffey, her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey and their son Frank were called to Tyro, Va. last week due to the illness of their relative Mrs. Clara Coffey. They returned to their home Sunday night. Donnie Dodson of Washington, D. C. spent the week-end with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ledxer Dod6on. Buddy Aylor, Mrs. Susan Delaine and her three children of Arlington were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Joe Aylor and a friend John Daughterey of Arlington were guests for the week-end of Joe’s grandmother Mrs. Della Howard at the Lee Highway Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Osborne and family of Gainesville were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore at Barlow.
