War Gl Bill
'Veterans planning to go to school under the new GI BUI do not have to rush to meet a deadline, EdwardM.Mathews of the Division of War Veterans Claims pointed out today. Although most benefits under the new Bill are effective immediately, the education assistance benefits will not begin until June 1, 1966. Late in April, the Division of War Veterans’ Claims expects to have application blanks and full information available at all of its field offices. The application blanks will, also, be available at the admission offices in most approved schools. Veterans will have ample time to select courses and make applications without losing either class time or payments from the Veterans Administration.

Susan Kindred Given Birthday Party
Susan Kindred of AmissvUle was honored with a party Saturday in celebration of her ninth birthday. The party was given by her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kinderd, at their home. Guests included Cheryl Poling, Melody Green Faye Burner, Susan Latham, Lauren Hayes and Denise Carter. Susan’s brother, John, was also present.
