The object of this suit is to partition the lands that Edward Jordan and James Jordan died seized and possessed of in one of the modes prescribed by law, and the parties to this cause have certain interests in •aid lands located in Wakefield Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia. The said land con. ■ists of a 2.05 Acre lot with dwelling house thereon about 1 mile west of Flint Hill, Virginia.

An affidavit having been made and filed that the following are not residents of the State of Virginia, and that the last known post office addresses are correctly set forth opposite their names as listed below:

Address unknown ' and returns having been made by the Sheriff of Warren County that the subpoenas in chancery with a copy of the bills of complaint in this suit attached for service on the said Gregory Lloyd Jordan and Brevious Edward Jordan, whose last known addresses were 412 Hill Stre_et, Front Royal, Virginia, with the words on each such subpoena so returned by said Sheriff, to-wit: “Not an inhabitant of my bailiwick.” It is ordered that the said nonresident defendants and parties unknown above-mentioned do appear within ten days after due -ublication of this order and do what is necessary to protect their interests.

It is further ordered that the foregoing portion of this order be published once a week for four successive weeks in the RAPPAHANNOCK NEWS, a newspaper published in the Town of Washington, Rappahannock Countv. Virginia, that a copy be posted at the front door of this Court House of said Rappahannock County, Virginia, within ten days after entry of this order of publication, and that the Clerk mail a copy hereof to each of the said Defendants at the post office addresses given in this affidavit herein within ten days after the entry of this Order of Publication and file a certificate of the fact in the papers of this case.
