By Mrs. Alice Dorsey Mrs. Pete Nichorlson of Brightwood was a Saturday evening guest of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Dodson. On Sunday their sons and daughters-inlaw Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dodson of Banco and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Willis Dodson of Leon spent the day with them. Mrs. Oscar Dodson, who entered the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville on March 11 remains the same. She is in North 4, Room 11 and would be glad to hear from her Slate Mills friends. . Mr. and Mrs. James Elkins and son Larry of Bethesda, Md. were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Settle especially to visit Mr. Elkins’ mother Mrs. Luther Elkins of Charleston, W. Va. who is visiting the Settles. Mr. Elkins iis expected next Sunday and Mrs. Elkins will return home with him at that time. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jenkins had as their guests last Thursday evening their son and daughter-in-law Mr. andMrs. ! Charles H. Jenkins and children of Front Royal. They were enroute home from a two weeks' vacation in Thomas Oklahoma where they visited IMrs. Jenkins’ parents. Last Thursday John Keys returned to his home from a hospital in Richmond where he had been a patient for several weeks. Mrs. Floyd Alford, who has been ill, is reported to be improving.
