David Garfield Williams, 50, of Chester Gap died Thursday, March 17 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born in Rappahannock County, a son of the late Cary and Beulah Molden Williams. He was a member and past chief of the Chester Gap Fire Company and was an Army veteran of World War II. , •*., .. k He is survived by his wife, Minnie Belle North Williams a stepmother, Mrs. Lucy Williams of Chester Gap; twc sons, David Lawin Williams and Lonnie Ray Williams; seven brothers, Downing, Hay wood, Linwood, Randolph, Elwood and Leo Williams, all oi Chester Gap and Dalton Williams of Front Royal; three sisters, Miss Mattie Williams Mrs. Jessie Wines and Mrs. Naomi Dulin, all of Chester Gap; and one grandchild.
