Mr. and Mrs. Paul Marlowe of Altamonte Springs, Florida announce the engagement of her daughter, Lorelle Jacqueline Marcil of Amissville, Virginia* to Paul Newton of Forest Park, Illinois. He is the son of Roscoe Newton and the late Mrs. Newton. Miss Marcil was graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1960 and attended Strayer Secretarial CoF lege in Washington, D.C. She is presently employed with! American Farm Bureau Federation in Washington, D.C. Mr. Newton is a graduate of Herrin Township High School, Herrin, Illinois. He served four years with the U. S. Marine Corps and is employed with American Agricultural Mutual Insurance Company, Chicago, Illinois. A June wedding is planned.

The Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad will have their May Rummage1 Sale, biginning May 5. The salesroom in the basement of the Post Office building will be open every Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations of any usable articles will be appreciated, please bring articles to salesroom or contact Mrs. Walker Jenkins or Mrs. Edward M.
