Madison Extension Day Students Register on 12th
Registration of college day students at the University of Virginia, Madison Extension Center, will be held Monday, September 12 at the Center from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Orientation will be on Tuesday, September 13, at 10 a.m. in the War Memorial Building I at Madison, with day classes starting the following day, September 14.
Reception for Episcopal Bishop
The Suffragan Bishop of the Diocese of Virginia, the Rt. Rev. Samuel Blackwell Chilton, D. D. was present at the Sunday morninto worship of Trinity Episcopal Church and performed the Order of Confirmation.
A Reception was held in the Parish Hall by the congregation immediately following the service to greet both the Bishop and the newly confirmed: Carolyn Keith Johnston, Martha Pauline Shillingburg, David Morrow Cordle, Louise Harron Cordle, Edwin. Kent Henry, Stewart Wayne Henry and Christine Tanner Johnston.
