With Wool Contest
One American girl between the age of 14 and 21 will b4f the winner this year of a twp weeks European Holiday iij England, France and Germany She will be the winner in "Sew With Wool Contest", sponsored by the Woman’s Auxiliary to the National Wool Grow ers Association. In Virginia, the Virginia Sheep Federation are sponsoring the contest along with the Auxiliary. /*' Two Divisions will be held lit Virginia, Junior, 14 to 16 years and Senior, 17 to 21 years. Each age group will have a first, second and alternate winner selected. The first two winners in each contest will compete in the State contest. The District Contest for Northern Virginia (19coun ties) will be held Saturday, October 15, 1966, at the War Memorial Building, Winchester, Virginia, beginning at 10 a. m.
This contest requires an entry form be filled in and mailed with a sample of the material by October 1, 1966. All information is on the form. These are available at stores selling all wool material, home economics instructors or Extension home economists in each county.
All Juniors will be judged with juniors and seniors with seniors. Judging at all levels will be based on workmanLuck
