It is dry, dry, dry and getting dryer daily. August rainfall (1.25 inch); the driest August since official weather bureau rain guage has been under Ruby’s watchful eye which started in fall of 1944.

Calf Sale (October 18th). In spectlon schedule has been sent out. A total of 1353 head were nominated, however sev eral intentional consignors re ported extreme shortage of livestock water and might be forced to sell earlier.
