Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Nethers left Sunday for a two week vacation. Their travels will take them as far west as Nevada.
Mr. and Mrs. William L. Payne and son Billy were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gouldthorpe and daughter Candy in Bealeton.

Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis of Front Royal were guests on Wednesday of Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Miss Ruth Menefee. Mrs. Della Howard spent the holiday with her daughter Mrs. J. H. Aylor and family in Arlington. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mansfield of St. Petersburg, Fla. were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar. Mrs. Jack JConek, Robin, Joey and John of Newport News and Mrs. Elizabeth Ragan of Richmond were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Brown. Other recent guests in the Brown home were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brown and family of Winston Salem, N. C. and M/Sgt. and Mrs. M. W. Brown, Jr. and family from Hampton. Airman First Class Gerald Brown has recently notified his parents of his arrival in Thailand for a year's duty. Mrs. "Doc" Miller has returned to her home in Appomattox after a week's visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Priest.
