A nursing Seminar for the registered, general duty and other interested nurses in the area will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 1966 at the Winchester Memorial Hospital in Winchester, was announcedby "Miss Mary FrancesDix, committee chairman for the Tuberculosis and HealthAssocia tion of Northern Virginia. The program will start at 10:00 a.m. following registration and will cover the latest medical information * available on respiratory diseases and tuberculosis. This is the second seminar of its kind to be sponsored by the local tuberculosis and health organization and the Virginia TB and RD Association. Topics to be covered will include "Newer Concepts in Nursing Care and Education of the TB Patient", "Latest Treatment and Use of Drugs for the TB Patient", “Phvsio logy of the Respiratory system and Pleural Drainage” and "Demonstration and Use of Respiratory Aid Equip ment.” There will be no charge for the nurses attending the semi nar from the counties of Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Loudoun, Page, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, Warren and the city of Winchester. Reservations should be made for luncheon, according to Miss Dix, with the TB and Health Association, P. O. Boat 1128, Front Royal (telephone 6355400) by September 18th.
