Clark’s Hound Wins
Deacon Jake, a prize winning hound owned by Clifton Clark Df Woodville, has added more firsts to his already great record. The hound won first in the Ai^Age Mal§ class and j the "Natural Carriage class at the West Hariover Bench Show and Field Trials held last weekend. Bill Sours of Luray, who accompanied Mr. Clark to the event, won first place High General Average Derby Hound with one of his hounds.
New Teachers Feted At Banquet
The Rappahannock County Educational Association entertained at dinner Monday evening at the Belle Boyd Restaurant in Front Royal for the new teachers in the county. Approximately 53 teachers, members of the school board and retired teachers enjoyed the dinner and getting acquainted in a social hour which followed.
