Arthur Miller in Washington and his' brother the late Colonel Frank Miller in Sperryville. Mrs. "Flossie* Miller as she was known to the many Miller descendants spent years in compiling and researching a geneology of Rappahannock Millers. Among the most interesting things in tHe varied collection is an electric pottery percolator that is over 5C years old and is in perfect working order with original directions. It is a “Royal Rochester" patented in 1912 with a five year guarantee on the heating element. In addition to the articles in the picture there is a lovely 25 piece set of Spode in the Tower pattern featuring blue with a castle scene on a white background. Of special Interest to local people will be the glove box decorated with a gold decal and featuring a mother of pearl escutcheon around the keyhole which belonged to Dr. Miller’s mother who died in 1898. Mrs. Cleverly and Mrs. Miller found upon comparing notes that both of their families had come from the vicinity of Hadley Falls, Massachusett. It just goes to show that the old cliches *it pays to advertise* and “it's a small world" do come true.
