'*>' e * * - •> t ■ ; Mrs. Elisabeth Water Owen of Hillside, Md. died Tuesday, September 27, 1966. She was 64 years of age. A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late John Amos Walter and Sally Belle Parr Walter. « Surviving are her husband Walter Owen of Hillside; a brother, C. R. Walter, Charlottesville; and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Curtis, Stevensburg and Mrs. Effle Hiss, Pasadena, Md. Interment was in Fort Lincoln Cemetery on Saturday.

Mrs. Smith Hostess to Washington Btidge Club

Mrs. G. W. Smith, jr. was hostess to the Washington Bridge Club and guests Thursday evening at her home in Flint Hill were Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. C. B. Palmer, Mrs. E. M. Jones, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, jr., Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Mrs. H. M. Keyser, Mrs. Harry Lee Smith Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. R. V. Snead, Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs W. H. Massie, Jr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea. Prizes were won by Mrs. Keyser, Mrs. Snead, Mrs. Bradford, and Mrs. Moffett, jr.
