By Miss Diane Brown Schedule for next week: Tuesday, Oct. 11 - County Arts and Crafts committee will meet from 10-12 at the Cab Inn, Sperryville. Anyone interested in the committee’s work may attend. Oct. 11 - 7:30 p.m. the Woodville H. D. Club will meet with Miss Nellie Johnson. Wednesday, Oct. 12 - The Ami8svllle H. D. Club will have their regular monthly meeting at the Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 - Chester Gap H. D. Club meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Fire Hall. Friday, Oct. 14 - The Fall Planning Conference of the District vm Virginia Federation of H. D. Clubs will be held at Warrenton beginning at 10 a.m. The Agent, County Chairman and Mrs. Hubert Gilkey, District VIII Secretary, will be attending. Saturday, Oct. 15 - 4-H County Council and Officers Training Meeting to be held at the Washington Elementary School from 10 a.m. - 12. Oct. 21, 22, 23 - Arts and Crafts Committee will have a display at the library during the County Home Tour. Saturday, Oct. 15 is an important day for all new 4-H Club officers, for this is the time of the 4-H County Council Meeting. Part of the meeting is devoted to helping new officers get off to a good start liar that* Club meetings toy training them as to the duties they shall perform. Be sure to encourage any 4-H officers to attend as refreshments will be served and this will make the session both a work and social program.
