A box luncheon will be served at the town marker in Washington on October 22 and 23 by the ladies of the First Baptist Church. This will coincide with the annual House Tour and Dried Flower Arrangement Sale of the Episcopal Churchwomen of Bromfield Parish on the same dates. Three homes will be open on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Tea will be served each day at “Greenback", home of Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea near Washington. Other houses to be open are “Meadow Grove", home of Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Massie of Amissville and “Peyton House”, home of Mrs. William Meade Fletcher in Washington. The salesroom for Dried Flower Arrangements will be at Trinity Episcopal Parish House in Washington. The Show of handicraft of the Arts and Crafts Project will be held at the Rappahannock Library October 21, 22 and 23 and is free of charge. This is always of interest and well worth seeing.
