The Rappahannock Arts arid Crafts .will have a. work-day Tuesday October 11 from 10 to 12 at Thompsens Cab-Inn, Sperryville. Anyone wanting to learn new Crafts, and anyone wishing to share their ideas with the group will be welcomed.
We had previously announced that persons wishing to sell their handi-craft could set up their exhibit at the Crafts Show to be held October 21, 22, and 23 at the Rappahannock Library. Due to the complication of the new Tax we find it feasible not to have a ny sales at the show. However, we do urge exhibitors to show their articles with their name, address, phone number and price attached so that visitors will know where they may be purchased. Anyone wishing to set up their own exhibit please contact Mrs. T. J. Pillar, 9872414 or Mrs. Mary Cleverley 675-3541 by October 15. The Sue Slaughter group of Shiloh Baptist Association will meet at Amissville Baptist Church on Thursday, October 13 at 7:30 p. m. Speaker for the evening will be a missionary nurse recently serving at a Baptist Hospital in Nigeria.
