The object of thix suit is to partition title to the liinds of William J. Rutherford and Caroline V. Rutherford in the above-mentioned Bill of Complaint, to certain, land in Wakefield Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, said land containing 14.7 acres, more or less, as more fully recited in said Bill of Complaint.

An affidavit having been made and filed that the following are not residents of the State of Virginia, and that the last known post office uddtesses are correctly set forth opposite their names listed below;

Carolyn Smoot Evans, Andalousia,

Illinois

Florence Rutherford Smith,

Princeton, West Virginia

And the Bill stating that there are or may be persons interested in the subject matter of this suit whose names are unknown and making them parties Defendant by the general description of parties unknown. an affidavit having been made and filed that they are unknown.

It is ordered that the said nontesident Defendants. Carolyn Smoot Evans and Florence Rutherford Smith, and the said persons made Defendants by the general description "I nknnwn heirs, devisees, and successors in title, if such there be, and /nr unknown parties" do appear within ten days after due publication of this order and do what is nectssaiy to protect their interests.

It is further ordered that the foregoing portion of this order be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Rappahannock sews, a newspaper having general

circulation in the County of Rappahannock.

The object of this suit is to obtain a divorce a vinculo matrimonii i final divorce) from the defendant on the grounds of desertion and that the custody of the irVfunt children of said marriage, Saraetta Ward and Henry J. Ward, Jr., he awarded to the complainunt.

And an affidavit having been made and tiled that the defendant, Henry Ward, is not a resident of the State of Yirginiu, it is ordered that he do appear here within ten 1IO1 days after due publication hereof, and do what may he necessary to protect his interest in this suit.

It is further ordered that a copy hereof be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Rappahannock News, a . newspaper published in the Town of Washington, Rappahannock County, Virginia; and that a copy hereof be posted at the front door of the courthouse of this County within ten (10) day* from the entry of this order and that the Clerk mail a copy hereof to said defendant at the Post Office address given in the affidavit herein within ten (10) days after the entry of said order and tile a certificate of the fact in the papers of this cause.
