Luray High School. The meet ing began at 10:00 with a general assembly at which Mr. Jerry Deviney-Director of Student. Activities at Frank W. Cox High School was the speakor. Mr. Deviney centered his sppech around this year's S. C. A. theme “Dare to Act Now". The general assembly was followed by a coke break, after which the students divided into different groups where they discussed what types of action they would take to carry out the 1967 theme. Entertainment by students from var iou8 high schools followed the discussion. At 12:45 we were served lunch and at 1:10 we went to “Swap Shops" in which we exchanged ideas about projects which each school has throughout the year. A closing assembly was held at 1:40 with adjournment at 2:00 p.m. We were very pleased with the excellent representation by our school and feel the trip a worthwhile experience. Last week two teachers, Mrs Wood and Miss Younger, were out of school with colds. We certainly missed them while they were ill and are glad they are back with us. I am happy to report that Mrs. Burford's finger is on its way to a speedy recovery after having had a car door slammed on
