Mrs. Sam Dwyer had as Sunday guests Mr. and Mrs. Maywood Cornwell and Mr. and Mrs. John Groves of Luray.
James F. Smith who is a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital was visited Saturday by Mrs. J. Rodes Brown and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton. Mrs. Catherine Brown had as her weekend guests Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne of Arlington and MiSs Shirley Brown of Bethesda. They were joined on Sunday by Benny Brown and Mrs. Roselee Tomilson of Winchester. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown and daughter, Sherri spent Saturday with Mr. Brown’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brown in Buena Vista. H. B. Winfrey, a former principal of Rappahannock County High School is in University of Virginia Hospital for observation and tests. Mrs. Ida Deavers who is making her home with Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Devers in Front Royal. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar were Mrs. W. W. Cloe and Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cloe, Jr. and son William Weedon III. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers visited Mr. and Mrs. John Coates and family at Woodberry Forest on Saturday.
