The 1965 Social Security | Amendments made many | changes In the Social Security

{program. One Important change Is the payment of child*8 Insurance benefits after age 18 and up to age 22 to full-time students. A full-time student is one who is enrolled in a day or evening school for a course of study which will take at least three months.

Benefits will be paid for any vacation period of four calendar months or less to a child who intends to continue in school or who does continue after the vacation.

An application must be filed to be eligible for benefits. If benefits were previously terminated because the child attained age 18, he may be
