For Beauty Entries
This week is the deadline for entering the Rappahannock Beauty Pageant sponsored by the local Jayce’e chapter. Entries should be in by Friday, March 31, and may be placed with Jim Willis, phone 9878177 or Wilson Burke, 9878108 in Sperryville. There is still time to enter by register ing at Rappahannock County High School also. The Beauty Pageant is scheduled for Friday night, April 7 at 8:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the high school. A rehearsal is set for Wednesday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m.,also at the school. Age groups for participation are 4 to 7; 8 to 12; 13 to 16 and 17 to 20. Prizes will be awarded winners in each age group with a cash prize of $ 10C for the finalist in rhe 17-2C group. This is an easy way for some young lady to earn $100. In addition a $100 scholarship will be given the winner wher and if she enters a school oi college.
