If the child was over 18 when one of his parents became entitled to benefits or died, but is not yet 22, he may now be eligible for social security benefits upon filing the proper application. A child who is receiving social security benefits and is not yet 18 should contact the social security office when he attains age 18 if he is a full time student to see about hav ing his benefits continued. A leaflet, 'Social Security Benefits for Students Up to Age 22', OASI-1965-4a, is available without charge at your social security office. If you have any questions about benefits for students write or call your local office and ask for this leaflet. The Winchester office is located at 20 S. Cameron St. Hours are 8:45 to 5:00 daily except Saturday when the hours are 8:15 to 12:15.
Chicken Dinner
A Chicken Dinner will be held Saturday, April 8 in the basement of the Hopewell Baptist Church beginning at 5:00 p.m. Sponsored by Miss Peggy Andes for the benefit of the Women’s Day Rally. Everyone is invited to come and make this dinner a success.
