Egg Hunt
Mr. and Mrs. Herndon Hudson and children of Washington entertained with an Easter .Egg Hunt Sunday. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Dee" Christ and three daughters of Luray, Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Butler and daughter of Huntly, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Menefee and two children of Warrenton, Mrs. William Estes and three children, John R. Eubank, Sr. and Mrs. Frances Tyner, Washington, Va. and Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Jr. and Miss Ruth Clater of Sperryville. Refreshments were served following the egg hunt.

Personnel in the various divisions of Shenandoah National j Park are readying visitor |facilities in anticipation ol | another heavy travel year, Superintendent R. Taylor Hoskins reported today.
Visits totaling 2,349,100 - a record high - were recorded in the Park last year, with Shenandoah ranking third among all National Parks in the system. Total system visits were 133,081,100 as compared to 121,312,000 in 1965. Park entrance stations at Front Royal, Thornton Gap (Panorama), Swift Run, and Rockfish Gap are scheduled to go into operation Saturday, April 1, according to Chief Park Ranger William N. Burgen. He said the stations will be open from 9 a. m. until 5 p. m. during the week, and from 8 a. m. until 6 p. m. on weekends until the regular schedule of 7 a. m. until 11 p. m. goes into effect early in June.
