The fire school enrollment was 51 and certificates were awarded 35 of the participants who successfully completed the course. It wae sponsored by the county fire association with the approval'of the Industrial Education Service, State Department of Education in Richmond. Paul A. Poling of Amissville was the director of the school. Much work and cooperation went into preparations for the school and its successful outcome.
