Last Saturday, Rappahannock was represented at the District Sew with Wool Contest by two senior 4-H'ers, Carter Moffett and Amy Palmer. Despite the tediousness of the judging and the longness of the day, both girls need to be complimented on the fine job of construction that they did. Rules of the contest stated that garments should be of 100% wool and made entirely by the girls with no outside help. 1 think it would be interesting to know that neither of the girls has had any instruction with tailoring techniques. A Iso, attending the day’s program were Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. C. B. Palmer and Susan Dodson.
