At 1 p.m. th#t d*y 2 miles east of Washington on the dual lane highway, two vehicles were involved in a collision Mary. Broadus Gilbert of Alexandria operating a 63 Buick made a left turn at a cross over from the right lane. As she crossed the inside lane she was struck by a 66 Chevrolet operated by William Wat ter Robinson of Bealeton. Mrs. Gilbert was charged with reckless drivingby Trooper Buntin who investigated. There were no injuries and the service of Rappahannock Rescue Squad responding was not needed. Damage to the cars was set at $500 to Robinson and $250 to Gilbert’s. The next call came at 1:40 for Mr. Buntin to investigate a two-vehicle crash 3 miles west of Washington on Route 211. Here a 64 Ford operated by Patrick Harrison Padgett of Vienna sideswiped a 64 Cadillac operated by Eugene Jordan of Front Royal. Padgett was charged with reckless driving. No injuries resulted. Extent of damage was $125 to the Ford and $300 to the Cadillac. A car and motorcycle were involved in a collision in the Town of Washington at 3:40 p.m. Sunday. A 66 Dodge operated by Saroja Bharati of Washington, D. C. stopped in the line of traffic. A 68 Harley Davidson motorcycle following operated by John Allen jWilliams of College Park,Md. was unable to stop and skidded onto the rfght SfMJtalder of the road turning on its side. Mary Randes of Hyattsville, a passenger on the cycle sustained a leg injury and was taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton by Rappahannock Rescue Squad.
