The driver of this heavy rig escaped injury when he overturned on Rte. 211 between Ben Venue and Massies Corner Tuesday about dusk. John Wesley Johnson, the operator, lost control of the tractor, ran off the road, struck a cement bridge abutment and rolled over. The rig landed on its side across the highway leaving just enough room for vehicles to squeeze by through the ditch. The road was completely blocked for a while as wrecking crews had a difficult time uprighting and moving the outfit'. (Another picture inside.)
