Deer Contest Open

The Rappahannock Fish and Game Club will sponsor a Big Deer Contest again this year. This contest is open to every member of the club and anyone who wishes to become a member. The membershipfee is one dollar a year. The rules for entering the contestareas follows: 1. You must be a member of the Hunt Club. 2. The entry fee is one dollar. |
3. The deer must be killed inj Virginia. 4. The deer must be field j dressed and weighed when j checked in. 5. The deer can be either a buck or doe as the weight is what’s important. A trophy will be presented: to the winner. The money left over from the purchase of the trophy will go into the club treasury and be used to stock game the following spring. This way we keep our money working for the benefit of all sportsmen so everyone come and join up. In order to sign up contact Charles Foster, Flint Hill, or Roy Atkins, Sperryville. The deadline for entering is November 18. The next meeting of the Club will be Monday, November 13.
