Damage was estimated at $150 to the truck. . \t 0:3ft, Mr. Buntin was called to a two-vehicle collision at Massies Corner. This involved a 04 Chevrolet operated by Sandra Wharton of Was! ington. \'a. and a to Mustang operated by Rober t I eef.ardner of Washington. I). C. Mrs. Wharton approached Route dll from Route 522 and as she crossed the west bound lane of the dual highwiy, she was str uck by the M ust mg. She was charged with failing to yield the right of way. Mrs. Wharton received a bruised hip and Donna 1 ee Wharton, 11 months old, was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal by car and treated for a head injury and released. Gardner complained of injury to his shoulder. Damage was set at $800 to the Wharton car and $500 to Gardner’s. Rappahannock Rescue Squad responded to the accident scene but was not needed.
