A deer was struck and killed on Route 211 a mile east of Sperryvllle on Route 211 about 3:45 a. m. Wilbur Barnes Ha Iter man of Fairfax was operating a 65 Ford when he struck the animal. Damage to the car was estimated at $200 by Trooper Willis who investF gated. A 49 Chevrolet operated by Edwa rd Mac Nicholson of Sperryvllle was declared a total loss after it crashed on Route 707 in Jenkins Hollow Saturday night. Nicholson rounded a curve, crossed a bridge, ran off the left of the road and struck a tree, said Trooper J. B. Willis.
