Rappk Farm Bureau Elects Officers
Officers and directors for the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau for 1968 were elected at the October meeting held the 26th at the courthouse in Washington. They are: James F. Massie, president; Gen. Daniel Noce, vice president; C. S. Shillingburg, secretary-treasurer; H. S. Barks dale, L L. Parrish, Thomas B. Massie, Lee Payne, C. E. Johnson, Jr. and Allen Stokes, directors. Among the p^)jects sponsored by the local chapter of the Farm Bureau during the past year were donations to the 4-H Leadership Camp, 4-H Camp, Rappahannock Library and first Girl Scout Troop #380. At the October meeting resolutions were drawn up for presentation to the State convention in November and included the horse industry, marketing of farm products, namely apples, law and order, taxation on farm property.
