now up walking with his bilateral short leg braces without the aid of crutches. He is still going daily to physical therapy for exercises. It is £oped that he will continue to improve. Jeffery is a bright and happy little boy and should be able to attend school and to participate in some of the school activities.

Cadet James Michael Cannon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cannon, Castleton, Virginia, has been promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in the Cadet Corps of Randolph-Ma c o n Academy, Front Royal, Va. Cadet Cannon is a member of the Football, Wrestling, and Spring Track Teams and is on the Color Guard staff.
