Forest Grove Baptist Sponsors Public Dinner
There will be a home cooked Harvest Supper with country ham, turkey and all the trimmings at the old Forest Grove school house near Viewtown on Friday, November 10. Supper will be served from 5 until 9 p.m. and is for the benefit of the Forest Grove Baptist Church parsonage fund. Dinner for adults is $1.50 and for children under 12, it is 75 cents. Tickets are available from any member of the church or at the door.
Series of Shooting1 Matches
A series of Shooting Matches will be held each Friday at 7 p.m. at the Washington Carnival Grounds, starting No vember 10. Sponsored by the Rappahannock Rescue Squad, Washington Volunteer FireDe part men t and Jaycees, a variety of prizes will be offered such as oysters, hams, turkeys, and pigs.
