A reward of one thousand dollars has been posted by the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons guilty of the murder of Dr. William H. Lynn. The reward is exclusive of police personnel. The slaying which took place Hallow’een night is under intensive investigation by State Police and the local Sheriff’s Department as well as by investigator. A reward by a hront Royal group has also been posted. The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors accepted an offer of $2,100 from the Department of Highways for land in front of Washington Hlementary School which will be needed for widening an access road to the bypass of the Town of Washington when Route 211 is dual laned. The transaction will have to go through the Circuit Court before it is complete. Total amount of land involved is .11 acre, according to Superintendent of Schools O. A Norton.
