by Barbara Lillard This Friday, November 10, an assembly on Patriotism will be presented by the Student Cooperative Association. The theme is America the Beautiful and guest of honor will be Congressman John O. Marsh, Jr! Other guest speakers include Admiral Joseph Gardiner and Chief Garuin A. Gowens. American flags have been donated by the Lion's Club and will be presented to the horn er oom representatives during the assembly.! This assembly has been in the planning for several months and it is hoped that it will not only be enjoyed by the students but will also instill a strong feeling of patriotism! throughout the school. The S. C. A. met on Tuesday, October 31 at lunchtime. Discussion centered around the! assembly on patriotism. Also, the date for the Valentine Party was tentatively set for Feb. 9.
